With living standards improving rapidly and consumer demand growing quickly in China, the first Yale Concept Store in China opened on June 26, looking to satisfy that demand.

More than 60 guests from ASSA ABLOY, the company’s distributors in China, and the media came to celebrate the grand opening of the store, which is in Shenzhen, China. The concept store showcases the full range of Yale products, demonstrating how Yale products help people safeguard the homes, offices and possessions that they care about.

Allen Wong, the president of the Greater China region, says the opening of the Yale Concept Store is a milestone that proves customers in China appreciate and look for Yale’s higher-quality goods and services.

Irene Yip, General Manager ASSA ABLOY Security Products and Mr. Mak, Sales Director of Yale Greater China also joined the ribbon cutting at the grand opening ceremony.

Yale’s distribution partner, Dong Jiang Lighting Co. Ltd., has 15 years of distributing experience and a strong network when it comes to selling security products in China. “We are proud of partnering with the global brand Yale to build a benchmark store in Shenzhen,” Mr. Lee, the general manager of Dong Jiang Lighting, says. “This can help diversify our existing product lines and channels.”

Yale products have penetrated the popular do-it-yourself market, selling in stores such as the “Easyhome” Shop-in-shop in Beijing.  So Yale is looking to build on the success of the Shenzhen store. Later this year, more Yale Concept Stores will be opening in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Xiamen, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and other cities around China.
